A Destination Wedding in Hawaii at Olowalu Plantation House

Kalie and Jake left the bustling streets of Los Angeles and decided on a destination wedding in Hawaii for their special day. Their intense love was accompanied by the radiant sun and the cool ocean breeze. With sun-kissed beaches and a touch of history, they set their sights on Maui, Hawaii, where the iconic Olowalu Plantation House sits. It was here, surrounded by tropical paradise, that they planned to exchange their vows, surrounded by the island's rich heritage. Grab a mai tai and come see more of their journey as they bring a touch of L.A. to the historic shores of Maui.

HOW KALIE AND JAKE’S MAUI BEACH WEDDING CAME TO BE

It all started in 2021 when Kalie and Jake, a fun-loving couple from the heart of L.A., jetted off to Maui for a much-needed vacation. They booked me for an engagement session, and little did we know that this encounter would spark an instant connection and friendship. As we explored the breathtaking landscapes of Maui together, they couldn't help but dream of a wedding that would be nothing short of amazing. Then, I convinced them to say their "I dos" right here in beautiful Maui. And so, against swaying palm trees and golden sands, Kalie and Jake chose to seal the deal at the historic Olowalu Plantation House. This venue holds a special place in my heart and continues to captivate me with its undeniable charm. Prepare to be whisked away as we witness their love story unfold, celebrating joy, friendship, and the sheer beauty of Maui's stunning scenery.

KALIE AND JAKE’S DESTINATION WEDDING IN HAWAII

Let me paint you a picture. On this wedding day, I felt I wasn't just the photographer but a member of the festivities. Kalie and Jake made me feel like family from the get-go. They welcomed me with open arms and allowed me the freedom to unleash my creative spirit and capture stunning photos. The vibe was off the charts! All of their family and friends made the journey to the islands. Many of them, being first-timers, savored every second.

Let me tell you about the sunset. Maui truly knows how to put on a show, and their day was no exception. As the sun dipped below the horizon to cast warm colors across the sky, we found ourselves at the Olowalu pier, capturing breathtaking moments. It was pure magic. A perfect day filled with love, laughter, and memories that will be admired forever. It’s always an honor to capture love at this gorgeous Maui wedding venue.
