How many couples do you know who moved in together on their first date? Yep, you read that right—these two just knew. Sasha and Patrick’s love story is an unforgettable one. They met on a dating app and have been inseparable ever since. Patrick sealed the deal with an epic proposal on top of Haleakala at sunset. Haleakala is this giant volcano that takes up 75% of Maui, and let’s be honest, Hawaii has this magnetic pull that keeps bringing people back. So, of course, they had to return for an Andaz Maui wedding, and I’m stoked I got to be a part of it!

Sasha and Patrick’s ceremony was so beautifully intimate, with fewer than 25 guests, but it somehow felt like a big wedding. It may have been just how close everyone was. It was mainly their closest friends and family, which made the whole day feel really personal and connected. Even though it got a little windy during the ceremony (welcome to Maui!), nothing could shake the good vibes. And then the sunset—wow. Their bridal portraits on the beach were incredible, with that classic Maui glow. The reception was just as magical, with a long table that made it feel like one big family dinner. Every detail was tasteful and thought out, and that’s the thing about an Andaz Maui wedding—you’re guaranteed a beautiful one. It’s one of my favorite spots for a reason!

“I wish I could give him 10 stars. We decided to do a destination wedding in Maui, and one of the things I was most picky about was photography.
