An Olowalu Wedding Day at the Plantation House
Jenna and Jarred’s wedding in Olowalu at the plantation house celebrated their seven-year journey together, which started thanks to mutual friends in high school. The day was super relaxed and joyful, with family joining in from the mainland and Hawaii. The weather was perfect—sunny and beautiful, laying the foundation for an unforgettable event. They found me on Instagram and loved my candid style, saying, “We love the overall look and feel, and that you capture the candid moments!” It was an honor to capture their special day.
Jenna & Jarred’s Wedding Day at Olowalu Plantation House
This day perfectly blended their laid-back style and the beautiful Maui setting. They both lived on Maui before moving to California. The island held a special place in their hearts, making their wedding even more meaningful. I had the pleasure of capturing their engagement photos, so seeing them tie the knot was extra special. The groom and his groomsmen added a unique touch to the day, jamming and playing the ukulele while getting ready, setting the mood for a fun and relaxed celebration. And let’s not forget the champagne tower—it was awesome!

This Olowalu, Maui Plantation Wedding Venue
Olowalu Plantation House is a gem on Maui’s west coast, blending Hawaiian charm with island-style nature. I’ve had the pleasure of capturing many weddings here! What sets it apart is its rich history and stunning oceanfront location. The venue’s rustic plantation-style architecture and lush tropical surroundings create a scenic setting. Couples are drawn to this venue for its laid-back vibe and the opportunity to exchange vows with the sound of crashing waves surrounding them. One standout feature is its expansive lawn, perfect for outdoor ceremonies and receptions with panoramic ocean views.
The venue’s versatility allows couples to customize their wedding to their vision, whether a casual beach affair or a more formal event. I’ve seen it all. I’ve shot luxury weddings here and more simple and intimate ones. See Abbey and Ryan’s fun wedding day here. Overall, it’s an incredible option for couples looking to tie the knot in paradise and I highly recommend giving it a look.
