Po’olenalena Beach Wedding Elopement | Lindsey + Brian

Lindsey and Brian’s Po‘olenalena Beach wedding elopement was everything they wanted—peaceful, personal, and completely stress-free. After 14 years together (three years engaged), they knew a big wedding wasn’t for them. Instead, they kept things simple, focused on what mattered, and had the most beautiful day in Maui.

A Love Story that Started at a Soccer Match

These two met at a Portland Timbers game back in high school. Fast forward 14 years, and they’re still going strong. Brian even proposed under the Eiffel Tower in Paris… except he forgot the ring at home in Oregon. (Major plot twist, but luckily, Lindsey still said yes.) After attending and being part of many weddings, they decided they wanted something smaller and more intentional.

from grand wailea to a laid back Po’olenalena Beach wedding elopement ceremony

Before heading to the beach, Lindsey and Brian got ready at Grand Wailea, which set the perfect tone for the day. Their first look was exciting and emotional.

Po‘olenalena Beach gave them the intimate setting they were looking for. With Officiant Lightsy leading the way, they exchanged vows with the ocean as their backdrop—just them and the waves, soaking in the moment.

sunset portraits & epic drone shots

After the ceremony, we soaked up every bit of golden hour. We wrapped up the night with some drone shots, capturing the beautiful beach and the couple from above.

To celebrate, they grabbed dinner at Earth Aloha Eats in Kihei—because what’s better than a low-key, delicious meal after tying the knot in paradise?

Lindsey and Brian’s Po‘olenalena Beach wedding elopement proved that keeping things simple doesn’t mean sacrificing meaning. It was exactly what they wanted: relaxed, beautiful, and focused on their love. Cheers to them and their next adventure!
