The Neliton crew has been in front of my camera four times now—starting with their engagement session in 2018, then their wedding in 2019, and now two family sessions (2022 & 2025). Seeing couples come back as their families grow is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. It’s wild to think that we started with just the two of them, and now here we are, chasing a toddler down the beach for their family photos in Hawaii.

Ironwoods Beach in Kapalua always delivers—golden sand, rugged cliffs, and ocean views that make you stop and breathe it in. We lucked out with a perfect evening: warm sun, light breeze, and just the right amount of waves in the background.

Watching these siblings together was the best. Big brother was absolutely thriving in his role—helping his little sister, running barefoot in the sand, and letting her “help” with digging holes (aka throwing sand everywhere). Meanwhile, their parents were just as effortless as always, making parenting two kids on the beach look easier than it is.

There’s something about the mix of salty air, soft sand, and a golden Hawaii sunset that makes these sessions feel extra special. Whether you live here or are just visiting, these moments deserve to be documented.
