Top 5 Maui Elopement Locations
Maui’s a hot spot for weddings and elopements, and it’s easy to see why. The weather’s always warm, the culture’s rich, and you’re never far from stunning beaches. Living here, I’ve snapped my fair share of engagement sessions, weddings, and elopements. I’m sharing my top five Maui elopement locations to save you the hassle of hunting them down.
Maui Elopement Locations: A Local’s Top Picks
1. DT Fleming Beach Park
DT Fleming Beach Park, nestled in Kapalua, is a prime spot for your elopement. This place has it all—white sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and stunning views as far as the eye can see. Plus, you’ve got options here. You can exchange vows right on the beach, or if you’re feeling adventurous, you can head over to the nearby Dragon’s Teeth cliffs for a dramatic backdrop—all just a quick 5-minute drive away. It’s the perfect blend of beachy vibes and epic landscapes.
2. Ironwoods Beach
Ironwoods Beach in Kapalua is perfect for your elopement. Not only does it offer a stunning white sand beach, but it also features a unique combination of beaches and cliffs, all conveniently located in one spot. This means you won’t have to drive around to experience different scenic views.
3. Po’olenalena Beach
Po’olenalena Beach in South Maui is nestled in the Wailea area. This beach gives off major tropical vibes, with swaying palm trees and rugged lava rocks dotting the shoreline. It’s like stepping into your own little slice of paradise. The beach itself is gorgeous, with soft sand and clear waters that are perfect for a romantic ceremony. Being in Wailea means you’ll be surrounded by luxury resorts and stunning ocean views. If you’re looking for a beach that screams “tropical paradise,” Po’olenalena Beach is where it’s at.
Just a heads up, the last two spots aren’t public, and there’s a fee for a ceremony, but they’re totally worth checking out.
4. Twin Falls
Twin Falls in Haiku is a great spot for a waterfall elopement. It’s secluded and surrounded by lush greenery, giving it a magical feel perfect for exchanging vows. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can explore the area and find more hidden waterfalls nearby. After your elopement, you can head to Baldwin Beach for some beautiful beach couple photos. It’s a great way to complement Twin Falls and add variety to your gallery.
