A Post-Wedding Photoshoot at Kualoa Regional Park

Sheyla and Daniel kept it cozy with a small wedding back home and jetted off to Hawaii for their honeymoon. Since they didn't have many photos taken on the big day, they did a laid-back post-wedding photoshoot for some stunning bride and groom portraits in Hawaii. So, I hopped over (okay, I actually flew) from Maui to Oahu for this sweet session.

WHAT IS A POST-WEDDING PHOTOSHOOT

Post-wedding bride and groom photos are like the icing on the wedding cake but with a tropical twist in the case of this couple. After the wedding buzz settles, couples often opt for a chill and intimate photoshoot, capturing the newlywed glow against stunning backdrops. It's a chance to trade the formalities for a more laid-back vibe, allowing the couple to relive the romance and adventure of their big day. Plus, it's a fabulous excuse to jump in your wedding attire again and soak in the love-filled atmosphere of a tropical paradise.

SHEYLA AND DANIEL'S BRIDE AND GROOM PHOTOS IN HAWAII

I've never had a shoot on that side of Oahu before. Kualoa Regional Park turned out to be a gem with killer views of the Ko’olau Mountain Range and the beach, with Chinaman’s Hat chillin' in the background. They were in full vacation mode, embracing the Oahu vibes through exploration, hiking, and just enjoying the island. When they asked me to fly over for their photos, I was all in. Meeting them and capturing their moments had me pumped. We strolled around the beach park, chasing the best views just before the sun called it a day.
